Webvideo Prices
How much does a webvideo cost?
This really depends on your requirements. The main factor that determines the final cost of a webvideo is the length of time taken to script, film and edit. A webvideo requiring a one day shoot with a one day edit will cost less than one requiring a 5 day shoot and 10 day edit.
Other factors affecting the cost will be the number of people involved. If your film needs 5 cameras with operators, a sound engineer, editor, animator and writer, it will cost a lot more than a film using only 1 camera operator and editor.
The quality and experience of the team involved will also have a large affect on the price. We plan shoots where the camera operators are the best in the broadcast business. They work on many of the biggest shows in the UK such as The Apprentice and Top Gear. A crew of this calibre will cost much more than a crew consisting of recent graduates or camera assistants. Which type of team is needed will depend very much on your particular project and we will advise you on who to pick to ensure you receive the best product for the highest value.
As a rough guide you should budget between £800 – £1200 plus VAT as a minimum entry level cost for a bespoke webvideo of 3-5 minutes in duration.
Can it be done for less?
Yes it can. If you are willing to choose an off the shelf product then the minimum cost will fall to £200 plus VAT. An off the shelf product is a template that we can customise for you. It will look and sound great and deliver your message too.
